Isla MacGregor
Isla MacGregor
Isla MacGregor, at your service! I was born in a small fishing town just a few miles from New Edinburgh, and grew up with a deep appreciation for the land and its bounty. As the Minister of Agriculture, I'm proud to say that I'm now responsible for ensuring that our settlement is well-fed and self-sufficient.
I come from a large family of fishermen and farmers, and have always had a knack for working with my hands. From a young age, I was helping my parents out on the boats or in the fields, learning the ins and outs of agriculture and fishing. As I grew older, I realised that I had a passion for sustainability and the environment, and decided to pursue a degree in environmental science.
After completing my studies, I returned to my hometown and began working for the local government, where I quickly established myself as a tireless advocate for sustainable agriculture and responsible land use. When the position of Minister of Agriculture opened up in New Edinburgh, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to put my skills and passion to work for the greater good.
As Minister of Agriculture, my main focus is on promoting sustainable farming practices and reducing our settlement's reliance on outside food sources. I work closely with farmers and fishermen to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to succeed, and am always on the lookout for innovative new technologies and techniques to improve our food production and distribution systems.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the wilderness around New Edinburgh, hiking through the rugged terrain and spotting the local wildlife. I'm also an avid gardener and beekeeper, and have a small farm of my own where I grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. My ultimate goal is to create a sustainable, self-sufficient community that can thrive for generations to come.
