I know Brian warned me it was too dangerous. It's my own fault that I got caught. But I really thought we had a good shot at it. If we'd managed to pull it off, it would not only provide Strechna with all the grain the city would ever need, but given our Guardian clan the morale boost it so desperately needs.
But alas, the mission failed.
I'm Jeremiah. I've spent the last few months being held prisoner by Egyptian Armed Forces on a submarine off the coast of Alexandria. I long for the day I can make an escape. I know release will never come. I can't give them what they want. Even if I could, I wouldn't.
Meanwhile, the war in Clivilius rages on without me. I can only hope that if I make it out of here alive, I have a home to return to. The Clivilius Revolutionary Army must stand its ground. It must!
Shit! We really needed that grain supply. I've really fucked up this time. And my Portal Key is taken from me. My hope drains further with each passing day, and all I can feel to do is hang my head in shame. Even if my friends forgive me for my failure, Clivilius certainly never will.
