As a Wildlife Veterinarian at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, I have dedicated my life to helping and healing our animal friends. With over two decades of experience in the field, I have honed my skills and knowledge to ensure that every animal under my care receives the best treatment possible.
I have always been an animal lover and it shows in my work. I am passionate about what I do and I am driven to make a positive impact on the lives of all the animals I encounter. I take my role as Lead Veterinarian very seriously, and I am proud to work alongside Grant and Sarah Ironbach and the rest of the Bonorong team.
When I am not saving the lives of animals, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the great outdoors. I have a keen interest in hiking and camping, and I love nothing more than immersing myself in nature and discovering new and exciting wildlife. I am also an avid birdwatcher and I have a deep appreciation for the avian species.
My life has been filled with challenges and triumphs, but I have always remained true to my passion and my love for animals. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to make a difference in their lives, and I am excited to continue my journey at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, working towards a future where all animals are respected and cared for.

General Physical Condition

Kale is a man in his late thirties, robust and grounded, with a demeanour that exudes calm confidence. He has short, neatly trimmed dark hair and a light beard that gives him a thoughtful appearance. His eyes are a deep, compassionate brown, reflecting his dedication to animal care and welfare. Kale is often dressed in practical attire, consisting of durable pants and shirts that can withstand the rigours of fieldwork, complemented by a veterinarian's coat when he's in a clinical setting. His presence is reassuring, both to the animals he treats and the people he works with, embodying the essence of a committed and caring wildlife veterinarian.
