Sandstone Circle

Skegness is governed by a council known as the Sandstone Circle, which is made up of representatives from each of the city's neighbourhoods. The council meets regularly to discuss matters of governance and make decisions that impact the community as a whole.   At the head of the Sandstone Circle is the High Elder, an individual chosen by their peers to serve as the chief representative of the city. The High Elder is responsible for presiding over council meetings and guiding the overall direction of Skegness.   Assisting the High Elder are several other key members of the Sandstone Circle, including the Master Crafter, who oversees the city's trade and industry; the Keeper of the Sands, who is responsible for maintaining Skegness' physical infrastructure and defences; and the Seeress, who acts as the spiritual leader of the community and advises the council on matters of prophecy and divination.   Overall, the Sandstone Circle is committed to preserving Skegness' rich history and culture while also fostering innovation and growth in a rapidly changing world. Despite their occasional disagreements with neighbouring settlements like Xylora, the people of Skegness take pride in their close-knit community and the unique traditions that have sustained them for generations.
