Detective Lahey explores the exterior of the barn, encountering a splinter, a startling noise, and a rake handle to the head.
Detective Sarah Lahey cautiously approached the old, weathered barn on the Owens' property, her gun at the ready. Finding the front door secured with chains and a padlock, she decided to explore the perimeter for an alternate entrance. As she moved along the side of the barn, Sarah accidentally embedded a long splinter into her left index finger, causing her to cry out in pain.
Pushing the discomfort aside, she continued her investigation, only to be startled by a loud clang erupting from inside the barn. In her surprise, Sarah inadvertently stepped on a rake handle, causing it to whack her on the back of the head. Despite the absurdity of the situation, she maintained her focus on the task at hand, determined to uncover any clues that might shed light on the Owens' disappearance.
