The Hangover

Detective Karl Jenkins wakes up with a severe hangover after celebrating his promotion to senior detective and transfer to the Major Crimes Unit.

Detective Karl Jenkins, having recently aced his senior detective exam and earned a promotion to the Major Crimes Unit, finds himself waking up with a severe hangover following a night of intense celebration with his colleagues. As he struggles to piece together the events of the previous night, Karl discovers a used condom on the floor, raising questions about his actions and his commitment to his budding relationship with his detective partner, Sarah.   Overwhelmed by the physical effects of his overindulgence, Karl rushes to the bathroom, where he experiences the full force of his hangover. After falling asleep in the shower, he is abruptly awakened by the icy water and the realisation that he has been in there for an extended period. With the help of his loyal German Shepherd, Jargus, Karl manages to retrieve a towel and begin the process of collecting himself, despite the lingering effects of his night of revelry.
