Detective Lahey discovers a dead body hidden in a cupboard under the stairs, along with a USB device that could be crucial evidence.

In her search of Luke Smith's house, Detective Sarah Lahey made a grim discovery. A trail of blood led her to a small door hidden under the stairs. As she cautiously opened the door, a man's body fell out, lifeless and with a broken neck. Overwhelmed by the shock and horror of the situation, Sarah struggled to process the implications of her find. She noticed a USB device that had fallen from the man's pocket, recognising its potential significance as evidence. In a moment of panic, Sarah pushed the body back into the cupboard, her own blood mingling with the scene. She retrieved the USB device and, in a further attempt to protect Karl, took Jamie Greyson's phone from the kitchen, intending to remove any traces of Karl's involvement.
