Gladys claimed that the window was already broken when she and Jamie arrived earlier that day, but then corrected herself, saying she meant herself and Luke.
  As Gladys cleaned and bandaged Sarah's hand, Sarah questioned her about Jamie and Karl's relationship. Gladys denied knowing anything about Karl but confirmed her close friendship with Jamie. When Sarah mentioned Louise's report of Jamie and Kain being missing, Gladys seemed surprised, asserting that Jamie was safe and well. The conversation left Sarah with more questions than answers, suspecting that Gladys was holding back information.
