The Storm Chasers

Overview.

The Storm Chasers are a little known pirate crew that are currently operational in Angels Point. They remain close to the coast for the most part but will go inland for larger scores or on the order of the Storm Lord.   The Storm Chasers deal mostly in coastal robbery, intimidation, terrorist behavour and organised crime. With a small fleet or ships and a couple skyships, including the staple of the fleet "The Tempests Revenge", this group is not limited in where they can go.

Members.

Membership to this crew is earned through reputation or promise of service to the Storm Lord via useful skill or an alternative to being killed if useful skills are evident.

The Storm Lord.

The Storm Lord calls all the shots for the entire organisation. This person is usually in the position through grand displays or power or by murdering the previous Storm Lord. Anyone can challenge for the mantle but no one has ever been able to win it from the current Storm Lord.

The Hand of the Storm.

The Hand of the Storm is the only second to the Storm Lord and will carry out buisness in his stead. The Hand of the Storm doesnt take orders from anyone other than the Storm Lord and who he deems worthy of giving orders.

Ship Captains.

With each section of the Storm Chasers being allocated a ship, several captains had to be appointed to oversee operations and divy up roles when it comes to certain jobs.

First Mates.

The First Mates will be second to the Ship Captains, acting as additional help and support to the captain. They also will immediately take the role lf captain when the current dies, until a poin they prove themselves worthy or not to the Storm Lord.

Grunts.

The rest of the crews are made up of grunts. These guys will just do anything theyre told and get payed for their work, failure to complete a joh either results in being killed or being reduced to nothing among the crew.

Distinguishable Markers.

The Storm Chasers have some recognisable tactics and appearances that can be recognised by those with a keen eye or fore-knowledge.   One of these is their appearance. A crew members clothing is nothing too similar to one another but it is very distinguished for a pirate. Their crews earn enough to avoid dressing in rags and will often wear functional wear for sea faring and a few bits of jewellery.   Another appearance that is common is their branding. Almost all Storm Chasers have a tattoo that indicates who they are, often times it is conceiled to arouse suspicion but can be shown to others in case they need to assure them theyre one of them.   Finally, the crew members are most commonly associated with the drug called Primordium (more accurately, the Aimseer variant). They are known to either use the drug when in trouble/attacking, or selling it to those who can afford it.

Vengeful storms never calm till all is gone.
