The Siren's Call

Tucked away in the swirling vortex of the planet Cloacina's floating cities, an infamous institution has become the stuff of intergalactic legend. The Siren's Call, more colloquially known as 'The Whorehouse of the Gods', has been a beacon of indulgence and excess for centuries, catering to the most discerning (and depraved) clientele from across the cosmos.   Amidst the maze of twisted spires and iridescent domes on the floating cities, The Siren's Call stands as a gleaming, crystal-encrusted monolith, its facade a masterclass in tantalizing subtlety. Discreetly hidden from prying eyes, the entrance to this intergalactic house of ill repute is a diminutive, unassuming portal that belies the unfettered decadence within.   Beyond the threshold, patrons are enveloped in a cushioned embrace of opulence, as if the very fabric of reality has been tailored to their every desire. Velvet-draped corridors lead to an endless array of themed chambers, each designed to fulfill the most fantasies of the universe's most jaded and adventurous travelers. From the Nebula Nexus, where tendrils of ionized gas weave an ethereal dance, to the Gravity Well, where zero-G acrobatics unfold in slow motion, every whim is catered to with unbridled enthusiasm.   The Call's proprietor, the enigmatic and reclusive Madame Cygnus, is rumored to possess an unparalleled understanding of the cosmos and its many)inhabitants. Her intuitive grasp of the needs and desires of beings from every corner of the galaxy has earned her the nickname 'The Celestial Siren.' It is said that Madame Cygnus can satisfy even the most esoteric of cravings, often with consequences that echo throughout the cosmos.   As a hub of illicit activity, The Siren's Call has played host to an impressive roster of notorious figures. Crime lords, corrupt officials, and even the occasional rogue planetary governor have discreetly availed themselves of the Whorehouse's services, often with explosive consequences. Whispered rumors of clandestine pacts, illicit information exchanges, and backroom dealings between galactic powers have cemented the Whorehouse's reputation as a crucible of intergalactic intrigue.   Beyond the veil of scandal and debauchery, however, lies a more sinister reality. The Siren's Call is said to be a nexus of dark energies, where forbidden knowledge and ancient artifacts are traded in the shadows. Some claim that Madame Cygnus has entered into pacts with malevolent entities from beyond the veil of reality, granting her unfathomable power and influence. Others whisper of a hidden agenda, wherein the Whorehouse serves as a mere facade for a far more insidious purpose: the manipulation of the cosmos itself.   As The Siren's Call continues to draw in the unwary and the jaded alike, one thing is certain: within its walls, the boundaries of pleasure and pain, sanity and madness, are constantly being tested and pushed to their limits. For those daring enough to indulge in its forbidden fruits, the Whorehouse offers a chance to transcend the mundane, to experience the infinite possibilities of the cosmos, and to succumb to the allure of the unknown.   Yet, as the stars themselves seem to whisper warnings of caution, it remains to be seen whether those who dare to enter The Siren's Call will emerge unscathed, or forever changed by the secrets that lurk within its shimmering, crystal-encrusted depths.

Purpose / Function

The pleasure of the Spacers that come through, and the taking of their credits.

Architecture

A very basic, but large concrete building, the Siren's Call is unassuming on the outside.  Inside the building is awash with marble walls and floors, with many gold accents and decorations throughout.  A long time vain attempt to look posh, considering its reputation.

History

Known as one of the first buildings to be raised on the floating cities, it stands as a subtle beacon to Spacers after or before a long journey into The Void.
