A quaint, unsuspecting chapel sits at the heart of the town. Its tall spires and cobblestone walls project an atmosphere of serene grace. Inside, softly glowing stained glass windows cast eerie shadows across the wooden pews and the stone altar. A sense of unease veils the surrounding air and the quiet whisper of an unknown dread resonates throughout the chambers.
History
Originally a sanctuary of light and peace, the Church earned its morose moniker due to the tragic events of the past. It was built on the site of an ancient demon's tomb which was unknowingly disturbed during the construction. Consequently, the church was flooded with dark energies, breeding horrific secrets and malevolent intents.
Recently, the evil spirits in the Church were destroyed by an adventuring party, but only after decimating the town.
