KAIJU AND CRYPTIDS ARE BEGINNING TO DIVERSIFY AND GROW. EXPECT HEAVY CONFRONTATION WITH HUMANS. The majority of Pleistocene megafauna has began to go extinct. As a result, cryptid species and kaiju began to diversify and fill the roles left behind. Ancient humans also begin settling in the Fertile Crescent.
Cryptid populations are firmly established and spreading across the globe, with diversity matching that of the Mesozoic.

- Grootslangs are the only known cryptid species inhabiting Africa, as cryptozoological records of the area are poorly known. Australia shows no evidence of any cryptozoological inhabitance.
- Phoenix - and the subspecies Konrul and Humā - spread throughout Eurasia alongside the giant rocs. One species of roc migrated to North America, later known colloquially as “thunderbirds.”
