The Poems of Seragon

During the Kyanite War it was dark and bloody. The Empire of the Calvarian's was in full flow. The House of Kyanite led the dragon bloodied people of Colossus on a crimson river of death.   Nations fell and the word of the Dragons was law. Colossus was to kneel before the might of the Dracun Legatus, Monarch of the Dragons.   During the war the Colossun's were pressed, not daring to breath a word of fighting back, rebelling, defending themselves. There was one who could not remain quiet. One whose voice was given to the world to be heard.   A Bard called Julio Seragon, an Elf of the Starblood. They spun tales of blood and dragons. Great poems of the power of the Calvarians and their draconic heritages.   The people hated the poems, wanted Julio dead. How could one of their own celebrate what the Dragons were doing to them and the world.   But the poems were not meant for their enjoyment. For Julio Seragon was the First Hane of the Agiin. A collective of intellectuals that didn't have the martial prowess to fight an Empire of dragon folk.   But what they did have was a knack for covertly passing messages to those that were planning an uprising and taking back what was theirs.   The Poems of Seragon held information on numbers of Calvarian's in certain areas, where they were moving to, their next targets and so on.   Due to the popularity of the Elf among the Calvarians, they were aloud to sing their poems in taverns and market squares all across the empire.   Their voice was said to be so charming that it could cool dragon fire, a point Julio made often in each poem.   It wasn't until after the Kyanite War that folk discovered the life Julio had to live to take Colossus back from the Dragons.
