Tydal Dancing
It is common knowledge that Kvari is riddled with elemental storms. On flavour of such storms are that of the elemental water realm. When these come it is as if a great cleansing flood has been summoned.
In an attempt to reduce the raging waves these aquatic storms bring a lot of folks of Kvari perform a Tydal Dance.
Many compare it to dances all over Colossus used to summon the rains, or grant victory in battle. But a Tydal Dance is a request, a message sent to the hear of the elemental realm of water.
During the dance there is a response which tells the dancers how to finish the ceremony.
These finishes are few, the first of which is a threat, not wise some would say but if the storm is juvenile it can sometimes cause it to be short and therefore less death in its wake.
A plea of mercy is another, angry raging storms listen to little but sometimes can be reached and will consider mercy, it all depends on the energy of the Tydal Dance.
More commonly the dance of banishment is attempted. This requires a lot of energy and a lot of dancers. Rarely successful but always attempted.
A banished storm means a moment of peace for those of Kvari. But there is a downside, the storm still happens, just not in the material realm.
Tydal Dancing was banned when those with the ability became so adept that they were aiming the storms at their enemies. This caused many tribes and packs to hunt down and wiped out as many of those with the knowledge from the face of the realm.
Now it is a small group performing the dance's. No others have been able to create the same for earth, fire and air. Some say its impossible.
