Born in the lap of luxury Mathias had a very wealthy and sheltered upbringing. His mother was a prominent sorcerer in Majital while his father was a respected Paladin of Glory. Due to his parents high class and respected status many people expected great things from Mathias. This expectation has caused to feel as if he is in his parents shadow and therefore lacks his own sense of self. Instead of following in his parents footsteps, Mathias chose to be a fighter to carve his own path. Despite his regal appearance and serious demeanor he has difficulty speaking to others. Due to his wealthy upbringing he lacked many chances for social interaction, especially common folk and those who were not fortunate enough to be born into wealth like he has. Instead of talking to others, he spent much of his time reading, especially novels that have romance and tales of heroes of the past. This pastime has made him have a deep appreciation for the god Viderick, which he keeps secret due to his fathers affinity to Glory. Wanting to know more about the world outside of his parents watch, Mathias set out for an adventure. His first stop is Bloodway Bay, excited and nervous Mathias heads off for his for his first adventure, what people will he meet and will he be able to escape his parents shadow...?

A dragon born fighter coming from a high class upbringing. He tries to put up a serious front but gets flustered quite easily. He has difficulty talking to others properly. He has a secret admiration for the god Viderick and enjoys romance.
