Und wenn man nun in einen dieser Container hinein muss? Ein Alarmsignal einer ausgefallenen Kühlung, Verdacht auf Schmuggelware, das vergessene Haustier einer "wirklich" wichtigen Person oder tausend andere Gründe?

Dafür wurde der "Dosenöffner" erfunden. Offiziell laut Patentschrift der "Kurzreichweiten Molekularverschränker 38B". Ein Gerät welches ein Kreisrundes Feld erzeugt, das einen vereinfacht gesprochen "durch Wände gehen lässt".

Der Kreis kann stufenlos auf einen Radius von 30cm bis 150cm eingestellt werden. Es können Wandstärken bis maximal 4cm "geöffnet" werden. Ein Nebeneffekt, der nicht beseitigt werden konnte, ist die optische Komponente. Es scheint weiterhin so, als wäre die Wand unverändert vorhanden. Die Verschränkung hält auch Gase auf, so das zum Beispiele kein Windhauch zu spüren ist, wenn hinter der Wand ein anderer Druck herrscht. Flüssigkeiten jedoch durchdringen die Verschränkung. Hier spielt die Viskosität ein Rolle, wie schnell Flüssigkeiten austreten können. Um den Bereich der Kreisförmigen Öffnung sehen zu können, wird dieser von einem schwachen Laser auf die Wand projiziert.

Wer ein solches Verschränkungsfeld durchschreitet, spürt davon nichts. Jedoch die Nervosität, die der Gang durch eine Wand auslöst, die spürt man sehr wohl.

Das Gerät nutzt eine wechselbare Energiequelle, die je nach Größe, Wandstärke und Material für eine unterschiedliche Anzahl an Öffnungen reicht. Laut Handbuch liegt das Minimum bei 10, das Maximum bei 38 Öffnungen.

The circle can be infinitely adjusted to a radius of 30cm to 150cm. Wall thicknesses of up to 4cm can be "opened". A side effect that could not be eliminated is the optical component. It still appears as if the wall is unchanged. The entanglement also stops gases, so that, for example, no breath of wind can be felt if there is a different pressure behind the wall. Fluids, however, penetrate the entanglement. Here the viscosity plays a role in how quickly liquids can escape. In order to be able to see the area of the circular opening, it is projected onto the wall by a weak laser.

Anyone who walks through such an entanglement field feels nothing of it. However, you can feel the nervousness that walking through a wall triggers.

The device uses an interchangeable energy source that is sufficient for a different number of openings depending on the size, wall thickness and material. According to the manual, the minimum is 10 and the maximum is 38 openings.
