The Golden Raven Award

This Award is the highest honour that anyone in the military or a hero in the Kingdom of Pouuys can recieve. The Award recognises Bravery of the Highest order, Intelligence of the Highest order, and Feats of the Highest order. This award has only been given to three people; Lamonir Waywind, Aegelleswith Bigarm, and Dayus Windraven.

Bravery

Showing Bravery of the Highest order is 1/3 of the way to receiving a medal. In this show you have to face an impossibly difficult and dangerous challenge and overcome it. For example Aegelleswith Bigarm often credited as the first hero and starting the Age of Heroes slayed a dragon that was terrorising his home village with nothing but a longsword.

Intelligence

Showing Intelligence of the Highest order is 1/3 of the way to receiving a medal. In this show you have to do something that appears impossible and figure out a way to do it. Lamonir Waywind did this at the Battle of Bassart where he defeated an army 15x his size with a loss of only 29 men.

Feat

Doing an Amazing Feat of the Highest order is 1/3 of the way to receving a medal. In this show you have to create something of pure ability. Dayus Windraven created the Eye of Sight which allowed for the wearer to view things on the other side of the world.

Ceremony

The Ceremony for receiving a medal is grand with a 10 minute ceremony followed by a day of feasting a celebration. Holy figures often leave the Ceremony immediately and provide blessing amongst the whole realm.
