Adelynn
This is a large town known for it thermal baths, which are said to have healing properties. The bathes make the town a destination for travelers seeking to use the waters for relaxation and healing. Due to this business the town had far more and sometimes better inns than one would expect of a place this size. The town is walled and has rough pentagon shape. Most houses here are constructed of wood and thatch with elaborate and colorfully painted gingerbread designs decorating many of the homes. Near the center of the town are several large bathhouses with their waters provided by the thermal springs.
Businesses that thrive in the town are various alchemists and apothecaries, many of whom sell products that claim to use the baths' healing waters to cure various illnesses and solve all sorts of issues. The town employs many bath girls and bath boys, generally attractive youths that will help bathe and massage the clients of the bathhouses. in many cases these youth also provide sexual services to their clients.
Demographics
About 80 percent of the town's population are Northron Humans, a further 10 percent are Mountaineers, most of the remaining ten percent are Corgerians with a handful of Danites thrown in.
Government
Adelynn has a town council made up of local notables who deal with municipal affairs. More serious matters are referred to the local baron.
Defences
The town is surrounded by a 10' stone wall with towers. The town maintains a militia of about 200 members and can expect assistance from the local Baron if there is a danger of attack.
Industry & Trade
The town is centered on visitors brought by the thermal baths. This has given birth to numerous inns and service providers connected to the baths. The town is also the main market for the area with local farmers coming twice a week to sell their produce and buy manufactures.
Infrastructure
The town has a half-a-dozen baths, one owned by the town and the rest by private owners. The main streets of the town are paved with cobblestone.
Districts
Surres - This district is home to the town's famous baths and several well-appointed inns that cater to visitors that have come to avail themselves of healing waters.
Tennver - This district is adjacent to Surress and is home to several brothels and several apothacaries and alchemists that mainly cater to the bath customers.
Rayden Hill - This district houses the local nobility and wealthy merchants.
Threngeld - This is the most workaday part of the town where tradesmen have their workshops and common laborers have their homes. The town's main market is located in Threngeld's square.
