Jagobe
A large seaport that also serves as the capital of the Kingdom of Jagobe. The city occupies a series of bluffs near the mouth of Stanka River Estuary. The city serves both barge traffic coming down the Stanka from Ulsar and Meles while ocean going ships come to its harbor from the Windy Sea. The city has a population of 35,000 which has expanded inland from the walled city. As is common in northern cities, the buildings within the walled city are built of brick and stone to decrease the danger of fire. Outside in the new city buildings tend to be more weakly built timber structures. The city serves as an export depot for southern imports coming up the Great North Road then barged in from Ulsar.
Demographics
The city has an extremely cosmopolitan flavor to its population with a mixture Northrons, Northron Corgerians, Mountaineers and a substantial Danit Community.
Government
The city is administered by a governor appointed by the King of Jagobe advised by a council of local notables.
Infrastructure
The city had a large harbor protected by two stone breakwaters. It has an extensive waterfront complex of stone wharves, warehouses, and shipyards.
