Marfik

Queen Quara claims all of the Marfik system, as well as the neighboring Caph system, as her domain. For years, she represented a minor corsair threat, but recently she has expanded her control into the Caph system, and her Hydra flotilla has revealed that it has true capital ships among its number. Now, many eyes in the Third Horizon have turned to Marfik, and the rising power there. The Corsairs of the Hydra Floatilla are not the only threat in the Marfik system, either. There are great colonies of Muzhadjar throughout the system, which before the rise of Queen Quara lead many spacers to avoid the system. The only location that might have drawn them previously is the Lithofor, an ancient chasm bored into the moon of Amr, Shefa-amr. The Founders built an ancient settlement at the Lithofor, and Queen Quara now claims the vast structures as her palace.
