As you,
the reader, might be unfamiliar with counting in senary like they do in most of science and space. Here's a small breakdown of how that works. I emplore you to check out
A guide to Seximal, by Mitchell J. Halley
The numbers 1-12 are pronounced the same, but with base six. This gives:
- one - s1
- two - s2
- three - s3
- four - s4
- five - s5
- six - s10
- seven - s11
- eight - s12
- nine - s13
- ten - s14
- eleven - s15
- dozen/twelve - s20
From thereon out each seximal number is pronounced with a -sy at the end e.g. s32 is thirsy-two. To calculate this in decimal simply multiply each number with the power of six corresponding to the index of the number counted from the back, starting with 6
0. e.g. s32 = 2 * 6
0 + 3 * 6
1 = 20
The following is a list concerning timeframes:
- Sectade - 6 (s10) years
- Niftury - 36 (s100) years
- Unexium - 1,296 (s1,0000) years
- Biexium - 1,679,616 (s1,0000,0000) years
- Triexium - 2,176,782,336 (s1,0000,0000,000) years
