Humans are very genetically varied due to their history and reproduction system. A gestation period typically lasts a little bit over a standard year (170 days).

Humans reach adulthood at age 16. They will continue their growth for about 2 sectades but the majority of the development has already passed.
Ecology and Habitats
Humans are limited by the need of breathable gasses as they use it to create energy through having their heart pump blood around that is infused with the appropriate gas.

Humans consume food in order to chemically break it down and create energy.

Names are personal for humans. Whilst some people might believe that a name reflects personality, others don't share this opinion. Regardless of this, the name reflects the person and must be unique. Whilst some people share the same first name, their family name often differs, sometimes names are suffixed by a number, or the term "Junior"/"Senior".
History
There used to be a lot of humans a long time ago. When they were the dominant species on their home planet. They spread across the universe which alowed for the mutation of their DNA into different genetic lines and variations, detailed in the different ethnicities. They have since dwindled to comparably small amounts but are still one of the most active and present species in the universe as a whole.
