Mind Flayer

Mind flayers, also known as illithids (pronounced: /ɪlˈlɪθɪdz/ il-LITH-idz, meaning "mind flayers" or "mind rulers" in Undercommon), were evil and sadistic aberrations, feared by sentient creatures on many worlds across the multiverse due to their powerful innate psionic abilities. Dwellers of deep Underdark areas, these alien humanoid-looking beings sought to expand their dominion over all other creatures, controlling their minds to use them as hopeless slaves and devouring their brains for sustenance.
Their natural psionic abilities also made mind flayers respected in the eyes of the drow, beholders, duergar, and other dominant races of the Underdark.

Description

Mind flayers were humanoid in appearance but with an octopus-like, ridged head with four tentacles surrounding a lamprey-like mouth.[2][5][14] They were warm-blooded amphibians, whose blood had a silvery-white color.
Their hands had long, reddish fingers and lacked the index finger, and their feet were two-toed and webbed. Mind flayer eyes were extremely sensitive to bright light, and they considered it painful, a characteristic that some githyanki scholars attributed to the fact that their alien anatomy focused light in a strange way. Their vision was also more sensitive to the recognition of geometric patterns than that of other humanoids.
Mind flayers that were healthy from brain-rich diets excreted a kind of slimy mucous substance that coated their mauve skins.

Mind Flayer CR: sadly very deadly

Medium aberration,friend killers , chaotic evil

Armor Class: They had a breastplate but the big head was a easy target yess yess !

Hit Points: they were luckily very squishy or we been al dead.(2 bolted, some kick ass moves from Katara and a fireball from weird girl)

Skills: Tips to not lose more friend to the mind suckers
1. Don’t underestimate them they may look weak and feral a bit like goblin ? But they will eat you so make everybody that is still alive aware of the danger

2. Stay somewhat close to your hopeful still alive friend.  The mind sucker have some ability to lock you in your own mind, so protect your friend if they need it (mead shield are sometimes fine not now)  but keep a little distance so you don’t all get mind fucked.

3. If someone got grappled al focus shoude go to that person. Because they will Eat the brain of the unluck person they holding dis is a easy and sure way to meet  the raven queen(may you rest in peace Remie). Pull your friend away from the head or kill it fast.

Damage Vulnerabilities: salt ? squid don’t like salt right or was that snails I forgot

Damage Resistances: I didn’t see something that did less damage than it should

Damage Immunities: unkown

Condition Immunities: I don’t think that mind trick are a good idea, they seem way more advanced in that area than me and I’m the leader of one super elite group yes yes. So be very careful!

Senses: the big guy told me these sucker culled his mind I think he may be going cray’s but are we all after this big loss

Languages: Deep Speech?(Sounds like gibberish to me the voice in my head sounds better than that crap),Telepathy form some ways away, undercommon

This friend killer and brain sucking F*CK’s, looked bigger then jarghull in my dream’s but in real life they are bit bigger than a human but it’s head looks like a squid yess yess. The hands are also a mess with tentacle for finger looks weak for holding blades or weapons but we learned the hard way they don,t need it. Because they got a uglier mouthed then I got but with waaaaay sharper teeth.

Suggested Environments

From what I heard that these thing like dark and deep place. So if they came to our camp something must be wrong with this place maybe they were hunting or stalking us. But why I hope she maybe knows more. But I think someone of the others perhaps has something that attracted this mind suckers (voice say I need to find out).
