Old City

Old City is a lower-class residential district in southern Coromare. It is all that remains of the original Calan settlement of Citta Cando. Its borders once stretched all the way to the River Cando, but the Palace District, Kingsfort, and Castle Garden were constructed over the more desirable land along the riverbanks until all that remained of the district was a single thoroughfare pressed between the city walls and the palace walls.

Demographics

Old City is known for being home to the very poorest of Coromare's residents. Largely neglected by the rest of the city, the district is populated by poor families of every ethnicity, crowding the tight alleys as they jockey for space and bread.
