College of Songs

One of the nine colleges of the Academy, the College of Songs caters to music and the fine arts. It is located in Mons Mirror, the hub of Homyn culture. The crew's musician, Ezra, briefly attended the college before dropping out to run the Orphean.
It is known, primarily, for containing the Eight Cantos: old Homyn hymns potent enough to affect the physical world. Upon becoming a Scholar for the college, students are taught one of the Cantos to prove the worth of Homyn culture in the system should it ever be challenged. The College will offer to teach several of the Cantos, for a small fee, to Corsairs who fight for patrons within the Homyn aristocracy.
