Gargoyle

Gargoyles are winged goblinoid monsters with skin of stone. They live on the moon, Nimbus, whose inhabitants are afflicted by a bacteria that turns their skin to stone in the sunlight. Their physiology took well to the symbiosis, giving them a permanent light, but protective stone coat. They spend their time ferrying friends and their prey across the moon’s many volcanoes.
