Hastati

Hastati is one of Sera's moons. During the reign of the Koan Empire it was knwon for being the "spear" of the Koan Empire and the staging area for its navy to launch invasions of foreign spheres. After the destruction of its sister moon, Aspidie, Hastati's atosphere was racked from meteorites. The loss of Aspidie flooded Hastati with refugees and the sudden shift in tidal forces literally flooded sections of the moon, rearranging the composition of its seas.
The largest settlement on Hastati is Spearpoint, still known for its shipbuilding industry despite the limitations that the Chimera Alliance placed on the size of the Koan Navy. The moon is also home to many blackmarket artificers who seek to avoid scrutiny from the Board of Artificers while still enjoying close proximity to the Koan homeworld.
