47 - The Starfire Guardians
When last we left our heros...
As the group recounts what happened in the previous battle, they settle into a building, hoping for a short rest. Percieving the enemy forces surrounding them, potentially looking for them, the group decides to take a long rest and wait things out. Trying to get a sense of things, Hollis uses his detection to sus out the enemies, but finds that both Ty's feather and Ailonora's ring are giving off energies that he hasn't noticed before. Deciding to try and lure one of the roving groups away from the group, Hollis summons Mamanor in the street who leads the guards away. Sensing the threat diminished, the group was able to long rest, and after doing so, continues off in search of Somi's master. Nearing the cathedral, the group hears the faint sound of hooves closing in on them, and after spotting a trio of Centaurs, the group finds themselves once again in battle. Though not before seeing a volley of arrows flying out from behind them, and with Somi hearing a familiar voice. As Odyissius and Hollis engage the oncoming Centaurs, Somi turns to see her master running towards them, battleaxe in hand. As the battle continues, Somi turns to realize that her master has fallen, face down in the street, arrow through the neck. Somi turns to run towards her master, as Ailonora gets an uneasy sensation. As the trio of Centaurs fall, the group reconvenes around Somi, and as Ailonora attempts to comfort her, Somi seems to lose a core memory. As Somi, carrying Garek, and the rest of the group approach the cathedral, a soft but confident voice calls out to them. As the group convince the voice to let them enter, they cross a barrier, discovering a busy, fortified position. Somi is beckoned inside to put Garek down to heal as the rest of the group get the lay of the land. Foregoing any in-depth discussions, the group settles down to rest and recover. Now, leveling up, the comforting smell of fresh breads and some cooked meats wakes you all. The sun, peaking above the horizon, long shadows in the early morning begin to recede, and the squat, Halfling woman you know as Faelilin Ermaris comes to greet you all.

- Overheard the Wizards talking about something they called "D'gayig" and a "Planar Portal" to bring "Hadar"
- Has tied the storm to the complex and this "D'gayig"
