The crowning
It is a celebration of the new king and priestess that starts at the beginning of the year. Once the previous king passes, steps down or the new king is called forward by the goddess, the new king and priestess are now in charge.
The first and second days represents the day of new beginnings. This is where the celebrations begin. The soon king sends out messages to the other nations to come to the crowning and enjoy the festivals. The day ends with the first celebration which consists of singing and dancing and partying
Day third and fourth are days of prayers where all of the temples and shrines get filled to pray for the new blood of the nation to bring a new age of peace and prosperity. That her chosen ruler protects and serves how she sees fit. Then they pray over the land that there may be new growth and safe travel. Lastly they pray over the new children that will cone into the world so that they may know
Day three and four days of unity where people of all nations are let into Citan. This tends to be the most economically positive day of the crowning as the markets are flooded with new faces. This day forward has the most security. This day is also the day where the soon king meets with the heads of the other nations or their ambassadors to discuss diplomacy for the new age. (All talks end on the day the prince becomes king)
Day 5 is the day the day that the soon king chooses the Majaera who will become the priestess that will co-Rule with him. After the majaera is proven ready or personally elected by the Altha Alma, she can then be chosen by the prince where they must both take an oath to eachother binding the church and royal family together and doing everything in their power to rule as Trinitas sees fit for their kingdom. Once she is chosen the entire day is dedicated to her. She must give a speech and is given gifts to her and prayers for the strength to rule. She also joins into the negotiations and is given advice from the previous Priestesses who use to rule. The feast officially begins once she calls for the feast to begin.
Day six Is a day of Fertility. This is where the new crops, plants, animals, and people are prayed over for the best harvest, most healthy livestock, and the most lively children of the future. Because the Majaera must remain celibate they are the ones who pray over the people and lands
Day seven and eight are days of healing and cleansing. Those who are sick are healed. Those who have sinned are washed of them. Anyone who repents and finds their faith are given new life.
Day nine and ten are days of recruitment. This is the largest day of taking in new soldiers and Majaera in exchange for a new home l, food, ans citizenship.
Day eleven is the day of mourning and rebirth. This is the closing of the old chapters of life. This is the day where everyone is given a clean slate and their old selves and being given a new life to live.
On the final day, this is the day the prince becomes the king and the Majaera becomes the priestess. This is the final celebration and largest of the feasts and parties and hopefully the unification of nations.
