Physical Description

General Physical Condition

He was always a sickly man, even in his youth he was ill. His right leg, shorter than his left, ends in a clubfoot. His fingers are gnarled from years of playing. He bears many visible scars on his body.

Facial Features

He has a crooked nose from where it was broken in a bar fight. He has a scar running from the bridge of his nose down across his right eye ending just over the cheekbone. His left ear is missing due to a dog chewing it off when he was about ten.

Apparel & Accessories

He was usually encountered wearing tattered, street stained clothing, carrying a backpack and walking staff. His boots were crafted of fine leather and always seemed to be in immaculate condition, as if maintained by magic.

Specialized Equipment

His specialized equipment included his Bass Staff, Boots of striding and leaping, and his haversack. He wore a ring of spell storing, and bracers of defense.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Having grown up on the streets he learned how to make a living through bluff an chicanery. He decided that was not how he wanted to live so one day he slipped into a music shop and stole a guitar. He spent many nights sitting outside the opera house in the alley listening to the music and learning how to play. Discovering he had a talent, he unlocked his magical potential. Though he never had formal training he became quite adept at spellcasting.

Being born in the gutter and abandoned in the streets he lacks any social etiquette. He is exceptionally shy. Give him an instrument and you can easily overlook these flaws.

Hobbies & Pets

His favourite hobby was the crafting of musical instruments, specifically those in the bass range as they complemented his voice by adding deeper harmonies.

Speech

Charles has a very thick lisp and a stutter when speaking. When singing though, his lisp and stutter vanish. He has a very harmonious tenor singing voice.
