Mercer La Doyenneoise
(a.k.a. Mercer the Half-Holy)
A wizard that is currently the acting president of the Mages' Guildhall on Bral. He is renouned by his peers as a prodigy, and was the majority vote for taking Kaiber's spot even though he has been banned from the Guildhall twice. It's known that he uses sanguine magic, a very rare form of old magic.
Some of his spells such as analize blood and crimson tendrils were created by himself and kept a closely guarded secret. As of late he has taken an interest in Spixi Longbottom using his phantom sight ability to detect her closeness to the weave. He wants to investigate further into the matter and continue forward with his plans of creating a new vessle. But in the mean time he does a very good job with the Guildhall's responsibilities in Kaiber's absence. As of current knowledge, no members of the guildhall have seen Mercer using arcane abilities. And when asked about his banned status from the Guildhall he replies that it was just a simple misunderstanding. Hiding the secret that he was using vampires as test subjects in order to alter is species and become an acended human. He believes that this is one of the many avenues in order to gain true perfection.
Kaiber has mentioned to Spixi that he doesn't get a good feeling from Mercer.
