Session 11 Recap
General Summary
Our session starts off with taking off from Braal and heading towards Mimic Land to complete the Peggers contract for the Ulfrik family. With a 22 day journey ahead it's Spixi the navigator that guides the Captain through the Astral Sea, the first length has our crew encountering a trio of Devas to Pelor. They approach the ship and give word that a White Dragon is going through the area and killing his own kind, the Devas tell the party that if they were to slay the beast to hold the head into the light of the nearest Sun and Pelor will reward them for their efforts. The second lenght introduces the group to a swarm of Giant Skeleton Sharks that after quickly being dealt with drops a bag of holding, inside is a fishing rod named Old Rusty that seemingly makes fishing harder. The third lenght has a bit of a larger ordeal occur with a Kraken catching and wrapping around the ship. Valtish tries to reason and barter with the Kraken but the Kraken flexes a bit of it's strenght taking out nearly half the health of the ship out in a single turn before Laylin pleads that they will escort it to a water planet it can live on. The Kraken reluctantly releases the planetary express and follows it to the planet. An almost certain demise averted. Now our crew finally arrives to the happiest place in the quadrant, Mimic Land!
The terraformed moon has about 2/3rds of the surface covered in parking lots and the other 1/3rd is the park itself. Chandelfur Ulfrik thanks the crew for the successful journey and offers to pay for the parties entrance to the park. At the park gate, a young man with a mimic shaped hat on and a vivid pink shirt saying Mimic Land greets the party explaining that anything and everything in this park can be a mimic. Adventurers are welcome to hunt them and remove their uvula to turn in as prize tokens for magic items, your entrance fee also covers one use of revival. Our group quickly takes note of other adventurers running around the park stabbing things wildly, couples of nobility walking around mocking the lower class, and Bonfirstian Ulfrik getting his arm immediatley bitten off followed by his head. The peggars take down the mimic trash can quickly and Chandelfur Ulfric takes his son's body to get revived. Livian Ulfrik follows with their daughter Meg, Livian showing a small smirk after the incident. Valtish immediatley runs over and murders the adventurer running around stabbing things as he was taking a drink from a water fountain. Lottie decides it would be best for her to go around the park and pickpocket the uvulas from other participants than earn them herself. Captain, Rhui, Rai, Helion, and Spixi decide to head to the gift shop.
At the gift shop, Rhui is bruised, stabbed, and beaten by a mimic door before its defeat. The giftshop employee greets the group and gestures them to the prize selection they can choose from. Punkin is seen by Rae leaving the shop already with a prize in hand. The group is impressed by a painting that is seemingly living. Now the group has a goal in mind to purchase this talking painting and put it in the ship. Valtish makes his way to the Zark Twain ride, a dark bronze colored human male wearing nothing but a rope necklace and cotton pants greets him for the ride. Valtish askes the ride operator if he himself was a mimic, the operator pauses momentarily to ponder the question before Valtish inserts his scythe like hand through the stomach of the man. Since the operator has now been murdered the ride is now closed.
Whilst the chef of the crew deals with a hungry staircase mimic, the captain completely destroys a toilet mimic in the public restroom. They then stop by the brushland cruise ride where they sink their cruise boat. Lottie continues her pickpocket adventures, and Punkin applies her mimic bikini armor. The big group purchases their desired items from the shop as Rhui has another encounter with the door and they experience the other joys of the park before having Valtish duke it out on Peter Pots Fight with a large group of strong adventurers. As the crew finishes their tour of the park for the day and Spixi fights a churro stand mimic, they meet with the sole surviving Ulfrik family member Livian who offers the party 3,000gp as a reward for a wonderful trip. The peggers decide to take on the mission given to spixi by her mage guild boss kaiber and head to Nulborn to investigate the plant creature. Punkin informs the crew she will be taking her own ride with her new friend she's made to the planet.
In space, the party encounters a space galleon that hails the ship to dock. An invisible stalker wearing a bicorn hat, mustache, and gloves greets the group as Stanley the Stalker. The first mate welcomes them to the Great Kindori, captained by the great Mystian the Mighty. Rhui takes note of the crew of Aarokocras working the ship as Stanley walks the boarding party to the captains quarters. The captain, a Djinni, is explaining to his boatswain she is still indebted to him and she hasn't yet paid off her dues. The boatswain, called Valkarie is actually Khosi, Rhui's lost girlfriend. However it would appear she has lost her memories. Captain asks Mystian how much to buy Valkarie to the response of 2,300gp. Rhui suggests to go and talk to Khosi first and see what she wants before making the decision. After Spixi reads the mind of Valkarie she can confirm with the group that she has lost her memories and so when the bording crew talks with her she shows her eagerness to get off this ship but tells Rhui she doesn't remember her. After a massive blizzard surged with the weave it transported her into the midst of the astral sea her near death before Mystian revived her caused amnesia. Her new identity is Valkarie, the boatswain for the planitary express.
We start off next session with the ship just touching down on Nulborn, the mission a frightful expedition is now underway.
