Antora Falls

Antora Falls...a beautiful, picturesque landscape. I had heard stories of this rising economy, nestled high up in the clouds and I knew I had to find it. But these rolling hills are more than I could imagine.

Found in the air several hundred meters above the Bex Sea and a several miles from the coast. Once it had been home to only a few courageous souls, but in recent years the economy has picked up leading to it becoming the center of all trade in the known lands. Now many traders use Antora Falls as a way point in their journeys. Despite the air being thin, it is said to be the best place for tourists. However, the summers are extremely warm and the winters brutally cold with storms ravaging the Island.

Geography

To the north lies a vast mountain range that reaches high into the sky. Its snow covered peaks peer down onto the lives of the people below. Over to the east, a large, glistening lake is nestles between a set of rolling hills that protect it from sight. From the rolling hills, a giant forest encompasses the rest of the Antora Falls.

Fauna & Flora

There is an abundance of Pine and Oak trees that is home to all kinds of animals, such as deer, owls, foxes and occasionally a wolf can be spotted. Close to the lake live a large amount of rodents that find refuge in the soft soil that surrounds the lake. The travelers who head into the mountains may find themselves lucky to spot an eagle.

Natural Resources

Antora Falls is well known for a rare ore that can only be found on the Island. It is sought after by many of the blacksmiths and jewelers in the known lands. The wood from the forest is used in the town that uses it as firewood in the cold winters. The wheat fields that surround the town provide for the town in the summer.
