The Margrave
The Margrave once saved the Crimson King from an assassin who’s dagger was aimed for the crown. He led the King’s armies and the guards of the city, however upon meeting the Duchess his interests peaked in a new direction. Always a violent individual forced to be involved in political discussions and meetings, the Duchess gifted him the old blood and allowed him to indulge in his bestial nature permanently. Now he revels in his newfound powers, being able to control the lycans that roam Lunarym and having enough strength to best those who oppose them. Secretly he wishes to rule, but knows that his best chance to continue the amount of agency he’s been rewarded is to aid the Duchess and the Crimson Court. As long as he protects her, he is guaranteed free reign over the wilds.
The Margrave is a bestial and violent individual who ascertains the philosophy of might makes right to its darkest degree. His strength is unparalleled against other lycans and yet he has kept his personality and sense of self better than any of the mindless beasts he controls. However, despite his strength and ferocious nature he is no fool. He is just as sly and cunning as the other viziers in the court, but prefers to let weak nobility do the talking and let his force prevail.
