Originally born as Fredrick Graham, in a remote part of Korunne, he had a nothing special upbringing. Over the years, he had shunned the idea of religiosity saying that the gods aren't what people make them out to be; that they are monsters that are nothing but ill intent and selfishness at their core. Those thoughts persisted until an odd series of events lead him to be a flowerer of Eilistraee.
Fredrick was no stranger to being in the wilderness and would spend time alone in woods recreationally. Seeing wildlife scamper and subsist gave him the feeling of this being the true way of life, the circle, one existence leading to another in some form. While on one of his camping trips he was pondering the meaning of life, death, and rebirth; and drifted off to sleep, but was suddenly awakened by a presence he never felt before. It was as if the weight of world had descended upon him all at once, yet he when he opened his eyes, he saw nothing but a black void around him.
This surely must be a nightmare, one of those selfish gods looking to exact revenge on him for his misgivings. He unsheathed his sword and readied a fighting stance unsure of what he was even preparing for, he noticed a humming sound that seemingly was echoing all around him. Was is the void calling out to him? Was it coming from beyond? Questions, theories, and whispers flooded his mind until he lost consciousness.
He awoke alone in a forest and while he was still regaining his composure, he was happened upon by actual Drow assassins who were initially skeptical of his story.
