The Tampering of Humanity

The Word Humankind or mankind refers to a multitude of beings in Covenant that share a common ancestor in the so called Elderborn also known The Untainted Humanity. Over time Gods, Devils, and other beings tampered with and manipulated the Elderborn to create Teiflings, Genasi, Goliaths, Merfolk, and other humanoid races with some notable exceptions. So now Mankind refers to these beings as well and for the most part they are accepted into normal society, though this may differ based on culture or region.
