Touch of The Forest King
Insulting a Fey is ill advised as many have powerful magic at their disposal. This is a curse particular to great forest spirits like Sylrex, the Forest King. This curse slowly spreads transforming the afflicted with its fey magic into a Saytr or creature of the fey wild. As it grows the victims' connection to the fey wild and its magics grows until one day they find themselves lost and unable to leave the forests of the Feywild. Few ways to remove such a curse exist, short of a wish spell it cannot be removed by non fey means. Certain Fey are able to feed off the energy released from the Curse, and slow its spread, but it tends to draw darker fey creatures to the victim as well who seek to gain power through the absorption of such a curse.
