Personal history

Brontes is the eldest son of Taurus. Born and raised during the occupation of Scorched Earth, his father demanded his son strive to be the ultimate soldier. He was on the front lines during The Exodus to Arilia, engaging the more bloody of the battles. He found himself shunned by Covenant society for these battles, and took the praise the Engineer got from her elegant victories very personally.
Bronte's mother was murdered before him by partisans believed to have been working for the Engineer. While his father demanded a more disciplined approach to revenge, his anger lead him to recklessly and viciously attack the enemy prior to his forces being properly marshalled. This allowed the Engineer time to regroup and prolonged the Trinity War.

Failures & Embarrassments

He has never forgiven the murder of his mother, the loss of the Trinity War, and the mutiliation of his father by the Engineer. He has been engaging in a sometimes cold war against her for fifteen wars, and looks forward to it firing up again.

Brontes is a particularly cruel individual, taking great pleasure in the suffering of others. To him, this is a expression of power and necessary to keep others in their place.
He is a very vindictive fellow, with an entire army behind him.
