The In Between Realm

This is the realm humans cannot see unless they are an Oracle. It's the place where demons and ghosts live, able to see the real world but rarely to affect it. Demons have more power than ghosts, and often entrap ghosts by deals or magic. Ghosts are human souls who have not yet reached the Crossing, the event when the soul crosses a river in the In-Between and for it to disperse into peace. The river doesn't have just one location. It shows up when the soul is ready for it.
