Tangled Nets
A common superstition among Acronian port cities is the idea that when two fishermen get their nets, lines, or traps tangled, it is a direct act of fate from the angels. Their fates are considered to be intertwined, and it is traditional for each fisherman to buy the other a drink at the tavern that same night. Sometimes these customary relationships lead nowhere, but often friendships are formed, some that last for years, and almost every coastal resident has a story of someone they know who met their greatest friend on the docks over a tangled net.
