DnD5e-Species/Sub-Species

Here is a list of all Spices within the world, Non-Playable ones are mark accordingly, that has been categories based on evolutionarily changes (magical, divine and natural based). A brief description of them is provided, if information is not present then it is assumed that the SDR will cover that information.   When possible, a description of how these species, genus or order are perceived is provided and broken down as required for players. This will still be different based on which country/group you are operating in as well as time period. These are considered the 'dominant' belief and does not apply as a blanket rule for all NPC that you may come in contact with.   All Species are independent of statistic bonuses, to allow you to creature your character. Statistical bonus are applied at creation by adding +2 to one stat and +1 to another OR +1 to any three stats. Exception is: Human may still select Variant to get +1 to two stats and select a feat.

Beasts-are nonhumanoid creatures that are part of the natural world. Some beasts have magical powers, but are generally low in intelligence. Ordinary animals, dinosaurs, and giant animals are included in this type. Other examples include quippers and stirges. Humanoid-are the main people of most worlds, bipeds with culture but few natural magical abilities. Examples include humans, dwarves, elves, and the goblinoid races. Monstrosities-are unnatural creatures ("created") from a variety of origins, including curses and magical experimentation. Examples include minotaur's and owlbears. The monstrosity type is also a "catch-all" category for monsters that don't fit into other types. Root-These are the core version of the Family that have not evolved to be evolutionary contenders to other Humanoids or moved to a more 'mundane' beast version.
