Avic - Birdsong

Some consider Avic, also known as Birdsong, hardly a language at all in the traditional sense, as it is composed entirely of tweets, chirps, squawks, and screeches, and can only be understood by Aven and some druids and rangers (unless through magical means). Its grammar and syntax remain a mystery to linguistic scholars, and it bewilders even the Acadeum how the various species of Aven with their different vocal abilities can understand each other. Some sound musical and melodious (hence the name Birdsong), while others are staccato, even cacophonous and jarring, resembling ravens and hawks. Because of its inscrutable nature, it has been argued that it therefore has roots in the Fey.   There is no known written form of Avic, although some have tried to transcribe it (with debatable success) into Fey using the Feyscrawl.
