Kembersign

Often misconstrued as rude gestures (which they sometimes are), Kembersign is a lightning fast, fully developed sign language. Commensurate with the fickle and fearless nature of Kember (Wanderlust Halfling), the system of gesticulations can either be overt, full of sweeping movements of the arms, or covert, with barely noticeable motions of the hands and fingers. It is rare that a non-Kember learns Kembersign; but because not much is kept 'secret' in Kember culture (and due to the disdain the vast majority of Kembers hold for irksome laws and pesky morals), it is not unheard of for one to teach the sign language to friends or fellow adventurers, especially in thieves' guilds--if the learner has the requisite manual dexterity, of course.
