Sarpan

Sarpan is a later offshoot (circa 1300 AFR) of Old Eshian, after Thraxos the Navigator left Eshia to cross the hitherto unexplored Sea of Strife and found the Thraxian Empire in 1201 AFR. It derives its name from the Sarpan Bay, where Thraxos made the wise decision to incorporate the native Humans and Halflings of the region into his burgeoning nation, also adopting elements of their tongues and scripts. It is now the official language of the entire Thraxian Empire, spanning from Ten Lakes to Zolos to Tashiej.
The language developed its own distinct script, the Thraxian Alphabet, a hybrid of the Hycin Alphabet and local runic forms.
