Descended of Madric of Valka. Being the first Valkan King in century to turn his gaze outside their realm, the long reign of King Urdrain has ushered in an golden age for Valka. His campaigns enlarged Valka's territory by 1/3rd and doubled the coffers of the treasury. Coming to his throne in the age of 12, he reigned for 58 years, dying at the age of 70 in RY 801. Urdrain's greatest regret in life is that he had but one son, having lost all his other children during his wars and his wife too, Urdrain did not remarry. On his deathbed, he wished he did, for the ambition of his son Undvic Of Valka would be the downfall of his realm.
