Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon

The pillar of justice, protection, nobility, and honor, Bahamut is a beacon to paladins of order and good, and is revered by most metallic dragons as the first of their kind. The crest of the Platinum Dragon adorns many halls of high leadership and justice, invoking his will in all matters of justice. To follow him is to look after those who cannot look after themselves.

Depiction

The Platinum Dragon is often seen emblazoned on shields and armor, both functional and decorative, in the form of a brilliant dragon head in profile. Temples and works of art depict a massive, glittering dragon with vibrant platinum scales and seemingly endless wingspan.

Holy Days

Remembrance Day: In remembrance of Bahamut showing people that there was happiness throughout the year, there is a huge festival. These festivals include feasts, community fairs with games and revelry, and the exchange of gifts. The gifts are to represent that people can share the happiness they feel with others they care for.

Worshipers

Bahamut's followers are of many different races and cultures, but all are of a good nature. They oppose evil, but their first mandate is to ensure they do no harm to the innocent in the process. Clerics are typically versed in martial arts and combat, and prone to leaping into any fray in order to defend against unjust attackers.
Bahamut was known to work with his clerics and paladins more often than other deitiy. He also believed in giving them a mentor or guardian to help them in their trials.

Talons of Justice

The Talons of Justice is an order of paladins dedicated to Bahamut that followed the Platinum Code. No one knows exactly how many Talons there are, but the group probably numbers in the hundreds. Members are spread throughout Alacrya and Dicathen.
