Magic Cooking and Brewing

When you want to magically cook food/drink for a meal; you must be proficient in Cook's Utensils or Brewer's Supplies, and have the cooking time to make it. A creature can only be affected by each tool once per long rest.   Cook's Utensils: You can choose to use: INT, or WIS when cooking with these tools.   Brewer's Supplies: You can choose to use: INT, or WIS when brewing with these tools.   As part of a short rest or when you finish a long rest, you can prepare a meal/brew for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus, provided you have ingredients or rations on hand.

The meal/drink will gain a base bonus based on the Tool check;

  • Expertise Artisan: (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (2*KitchenRank)
  • Proficient Artisan: (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (KitchenRank)
  • Non-Proficient Artisan: (1d10 + Tool Bonus) + (KitchenRank)
