Magic Cooking and Brewing
When you want to magically cook food/drink for a meal; you must be proficient in Cook's Utensils or Brewer's Supplies, and have the cooking time to make it. A creature can only be affected by each tool once per long rest.
Cook's Utensils: You can choose to use: INT, or WIS when cooking with these tools.
Brewer's Supplies: You can choose to use: INT, or WIS when brewing with these tools.
As part of a short rest or when you finish a long rest, you can prepare a meal/brew for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus, provided you have ingredients or rations on hand.
The meal/drink will gain a base bonus based on the Tool check;
- Expertise Artisan: (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (2*KitchenRank)
- Proficient Artisan: (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (KitchenRank)
- Non-Proficient Artisan: (1d10 + Tool Bonus) + (KitchenRank)
- Roll of 1-9: no effect.
- Roll of 10-15: At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food gains advantage on hit die healing.
- Roll of 16-25: Above effects, and they gain temp health equal to [1d4 + Cook's Tool Bonus] as temp health until they long rest. Stacks with other temp health.
- Roll of 26+: Above effects, and grant a single PC or NPC who ate your food a token of inspiration.
