Poison Crafting

This system of crafting is for all Poisons crafted with the following tools;  
  • Poisoner's Kit: Poisons and Toxins. (DEX. WIS)
 

Poison Crafting

You must spend 1 downtime session crafting, at which point you attempt a Crafting Tool Check. The DM determines the DC to Craft the item based on its level, rarity, and other circumstances.   Poisons can be crafted in batches of the same item, making up to Proficiency Bonus batches at the same time with a single Crafting Tool Check. You will still need to pay the full price for all of them. A batch of a poison is listed on the Poison Table.   Monster Poisons. Monster poisons don't need to be crafted, however, you gain your bonus to the DC if you take the time to do so. This does come with the risk of ruining the poison.  
  • Critical Success Is when you roll 10 over the crafting DC. The poison is completed and it gains a bonus to its DC equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • Success Your attempt is successful and the poison is completed.
  • Failure You fail to complete the poison. You must complete 1 downtime session and try again.
  • Critical Failure Is when you roll 10 under the crafting DC. You fail to complete the poison and the ingredients are ruined and now unusable.
 

Crafting Tool Check

 
  • Expert Artisan. (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (2*CraftingLocationRank) ​
  • Proficient Artisan. (1d20 + Tool Bonus) + (CraftingLocationRank)
  • Non-Proficient Artisan. (1d10 + Tool Bonus) + (CraftingLocationRank)
