Rokshala - The Man
Do you know what really pisses me off? What?Trying to write an accurate history about Rokshala. We know he's a real person, we believe he was a commander of the real "army of the light", and we know that he had something to do with the end of the Great war. We have records and accounts for all of these things. What we don't have record for is what came after. No date of death, nothing. For all we know he's still alive, which is absolutely ridiculous since he was a Giant Catfolk! Perhaps he really was granted the honor of becoming a God or a demigod or something. However, I am not in the business of religion. I am a historian trying to compile the histories of Rokshala the man!~a portion of the conversation between two historians overheard in the Kingdom of Kalderon
Rokshala, The Man
Between the conflicting historical information and all of the religious mumbo jumbo, getting an accurate history on Rokshala tends to be difficult. Rokshala was a half Giant, half Catfolk male born during the later parts of the great war. He became a war hero, having played a large part in ending the great war. Rokshala is rumored to have been given the position of demigod for his achievements during the war. Most remember and honor him as the war hero he was, but over time a few groups, cults really, have come to worship him as a god. Not the demigod that he's rumored to be, but the true God of light, leader of all the gods.Description
Rokshala towered over his fellow man at a Giant's height of 10 ft. His eyes were rumored to be a shimmering magenta, matching the hue of the shield that he was known to carry throughout his time with the army of the light. The majority of his body was covered in a coat of golden for speckled with small black dots, the fur around his mouth and down his front an ivory white. His long mane of hair hung braided along his back. Outside of battle, he was depicted to wear a white fustanella, held up by a golden sash tied around his waist. On his feet he wore slitted leather sandals. While in battle, he donned leather gaurding over top his fustanella. On his torso he wore a thin, white tunic underneath a golden metal breastplate. He would tie his long braids up underneath his Corinthian helmet. In one hand he held a large kite shield, about the size of a normal man, the same Magenta colour of his eyes. The religious fanatics believe the colour was result of the deities of light shining the rays of dawn down upon his shield so that it would reflect back across the sky and light the world on fire with a beautiful magenta glow. In his other hand he held a spear even taller than he. His ferociously sharp teeth constantly bared at his enemies.
