Session 28: The War Council

General Summary

War Council Location: • Westland National Art Museum located in the Cultural District.     Westland National Art Museum: The WNAM is a traditional style art museum, built like a Castle-Fortress. This massive structure fills an entire city block. The only parking available is on the street or in nearby parking structures, unless you are one of the Museum's VIP's.   There is a garage sublevel which can only be accessed by key-card and keycode. There is a small ramp leading down to a massive modern/high-tech garage door looking like a Blast Door. On the right side of the entry lane is a little kiosk in which people are required to present their card and enter the key code.   Once the doors open, there is a Guard station on the other side with a group of guards and the toll bridge type of barricade. Here you are required to show the keycard once again alongside your ID. You are then granted access to park in this incredibly well lit parking garage. There is an elevator on one side that is large enough to be used for transporting large art pieces as if it should be in a warehouse or something. The elevator leads both down to the work spaces and storage for the museum and up to the museum itself.   · During the meeting, Quinton Blatantly when he walked in that he single handedly killed a war ghoul and then took a seat. o Quinton also questioned the Prince as to why Saoirse was removed from the Council. · The Prince told Quinton's Bois to take care of the Freedom Fighters within a week. (Due Date: Friday the 13th) · Scourge told the Coterie about Saoirse and Philly being taken. · Quinton told Jax about the teleport door in the Prince's Office. o Jax told Quinton about the Path of Mercury and the Prince possibly being able to teleport. · Ester has Hunters at her Haven Hotel. · Primogen Plague gave Quinton an envelope stating he has a favor to ask of the Sheriff's Office and that he was told to deliver the envelope to him. · The Letter mentioned: o We need your help with something more dangerous than anything you’ve experienced before as you are trustworthy and capable. o We know what the Dark Mother is after, and where the Captain's Map will lead them. They must be stopped. o Meet us at (Insert address here) in 7 nights, which will be Friday the 13th. o Current night: Friday the 6th. · Sent word to Mama Boyles that they completed her request of making her the new Keeper of Elysium. · Jax healed 1 Aggravated Damage on his own. · Quinton healed Jaxx for 2 Aggravated Damage. · Tala healed 1 Aggravated Damage. · Tala went to the Haunted Circus to check in with Micah about how the change in Praxis is effecting the Ravnos. · Chat gave Quinton a Premonition which he saw that they can't have the Second Inquisition fight the Freedom Fighters since they will take too long, and he then saw them in position to ambush Baron Omar. · Butcher showed up to the Hospital. Quinton explained how a separate sect is in town who are the one causing Chaos. Quinton told him that the Sabbat have a Presence in the Barrens and he wants to see what his boys can do. o Quinton requested information from the Second Inquisition in exchange for these tips.   Plans for Fight Against Omar: · Would like to gather whatever supplies are remaining from the Sheriff's Station. · Have the Ghouls lure Omar into a Trap. · Jax will have stakes hidden around the area so that Jax can use Movement of the Mind to try to stake Omar from behind, which would mean he doesn't know it's coming and can't dodge it as easy. · Would like to have the "Outcasts"(Brujah, Ravnos, Thin-Bloods, and Lasombra) help them with the fight against the Freedom Fighters. o Brujah = The Baron's Coterie o Ravnos = Mica/Tala o Lasombra = Yasmin the Black o Thin-Bloods = Not sure how to bring them in. Inquisition Update a. Are actively responding to the Sabbat incursions, using the social unrest as a cover for their show of force.   1. The BLM protests kick off, but are much more intense. 5 of the black men who were among the first protestors in Crescent City were outside City Hall around 10am and were brutalized/killed by police. a. The Black men were blocking entrance into the building when a racist skin head shot one of them. b. In response 2 of the other black men shot the skin head in self-defense. This triggered the police to swiftly move in to arrest the black men. c. The remaining black men got in the police's way to protect their companions who were defending themselves and didn't deserve to be arrested. This caused the Police to beat them with Batons and arrest them too. d. Response to the brutality triggered the city coming alive in protest. The police activated all of their resources. 2. A bit before sunset, Thin bloods from the Sabbat started to urge protestors to become more aggressive, leading to a few fires being started and such. 3. As tensions were rising, the National Guard was activated. 4. As the sun set, the Kindred from the Sabbat further stirred the pot, sending groups of mortals into a fury, leading to looting, destruction, and death. 5. By the time the Kindred awaken, the city has been put under a 9pm Curfew/lockdown. People found on the streets would be fined and/or arrested. 6. The remaining people on the streets are the Rioters/looters and not the original Protestors. The originals are obeying the curfew and continuing to protest peacefully.   From
